Cherokee Country Club Wedding

This gorgeous and elegant Cherokee Country Club wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful. The wedding itself was full of candid moments and even provided time to create more cinematic stylized moments. this wedding is one of our favorites, and we have even printed a wedding album showcasing it as well as created a slideshow of our best highlights.

Brianna & Luke’s Cherokee Country Club Wedding

We began the wedding day by photographing the bridal details and sentimental items. It is always preferable to have these details located in one specific area, that way we can knock them all out at once. At Cherokee Country Club, the bridal suite and groom suite are separated by a very long hallway, so this allowed to document both Brianna’s prep coverage as well as Luke’s prep. Although their first look was during the wedding ceremony, we were still able to capture emotional moments with both sides fo the family, including a father and daughter’s first look.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Knoxville, TN. This church features a large stained glass window and bold architecture, which made for interesting post-ceremony wedding photos. After family portraits at the church, we made our way back to Cherokee Country Club for the reception. This wedding venue features a large ballroom with a spanning ceiling that can hold plenty of guests. After dinner, we were able to whisk the bride and groom away for some sunset couples portraits across the street at the golf course. The best time for couples portraits as right before sunset as the light glows warmly and it is flattering on the skin.

The reception was full of dancing and laughter as family and friends mingled, with a sparkler send off taking place at night. If you are having a wedding at this venue, we would love to be considered to be your Cherokee Country Club wedding photographer.
