Although most wedding dresses are shades of white, off-white, and ivory, black wedding dresses can be perfect depending on your style, personality, and overall wedding vision. For this black dress wedding photo, we wanted a location that complimented the dress and went with a forest and dreamy look in the mountains.
For the stylizing and posing, we positioned the bride in her black wedding dress upon a large rock the size of a boulder. We then directed the groom to situate himself near the rock as well and photographed a variety of looks and poses. In our cinematic wedding photography style, we utilized off-camera lighting to enhance the couple and give the image a more dramatic feel.
Although a majority of our clients who choose us as their Knoxville wedding photographers do not have black wedding dresses, we always enjoy something new and have since photographed a bride with a gorgeous purple wedding dress.
