The Press Room Wedding – Knoxville Wedding Photographer

Our RJ Couple met on a blind date. During that evening they celebrated with a shot of whisky at his Softball game and nurses week. They knew they were perfect for each other when she gave up FREE tickets to her favorite band to pick him up from the airport, he knew she was the one when they celebrated her birthday and New Year in Wisconsin.

The Proposal

The proposal happened one day after a nice dinner on their walk back, John Blurted out WILL YOU MARRY ME.  He said, “I think went pretty well”.

The Wedding

The wedding celebration took place at The Press Room in Knoxville. Laura and her bridesmaids got ready in the elegant bridal suite. Laura sat on one of 5 of the chairs on a long aisle of the vanity, her makeup was done by one of her good friends who traveled from Australia to spend her day with her. All of her details were photographed with a cream color background. The large windows of the bridal room let in beautiful flattering natural light at 12pm, it complements the linen couch and gold-toned furniture.

The Groomsman room is located on a balcony above the main event room. It is equipped with brown leather couches, it has an exposed brick wall which is a great masculine complement. John and his friends got ready there.

During their getting ready Laura and John were not far from each other but it felt like they were miles away, because their room is appropriately placed, they did not run into each other during their preparation. Right after preparation Laura and Jon did their first look at the hallway connecting the bar and the main room. John looked at his bride in awe and said “you look beautiful” Laura held him tight by his shoulders and said, “you are handsome”. The day continued to fill with family and friends.

The Ceremony

Their Jewish ceremony began with the signing of the ketubah on the balcony of The Press Room in Knoxville follow by the processional. Groomsmen entered from the side with the Groom taking his place under the chuppah. The bride made her entry using the stairs right outside her bridal room to enter the aisle.

When Laura walked down the aisle, John fixed his eyes on her not letting go. Their eyes said support, strength, generosity, compassion, and most of all LOVE.

Right there saying YES to Love surrounded by their loved ones under the chuppah, they promised to share all things together both bitter and sweet. And upon receiving their blessing by the breaking of the glass they completed their marital covenant.

The Reception

The reception felt candlelit because of the hundreds of hanging light bulbs. The sweet couple enjoyed their first dance toasts cake cutting and a great dance to the beat of The Boogie Knights band in Knoxville.
